1. A Day at the Seaside. Found shell, antique drawer pull, bird cut from a coin and old metal bead for umbrella.

2. Old brass clock parts house the shell and gear. The 'flying V' is my signature...our family horse brand.

3. My grandfather's old belt buckle makes up he back and hinges open to reveal the inner workings.

4. A crank shaft soldered onto a small gear from the old clock turns a bigger gear. The umbrella is attached to the crank shaft and the bird is soldered to a wire attached to the larger gear.
